Keep the faith, boys. It WILL come in the second half. I feel it in my bones.

Also, Yaya is going to bejust MASSIVE for us, eh? I knew he was good, but his play so far this season has been quite a surprise!

Mad Fer It in Motown on a Sunday morning!

CTID!!!

Bye bye rag boy.

The difference between the great and the good is that you don´t miss tap - ins and you take your chances every time - I fear the worst but I hope to God I´m wrong

If we keep this up i'm confident we'll get all 3 points today, it's important we do get the 3 pts though.
C'mon City

That was as dominating of a first half from City as i've seen in ages, more so than the dippers game. Tevez and Toure should both have goals.

Some of the football is different class, I just hope we can keep patient and doing what we're doing in the second half and it WILL come off for us. I was at Sunderland last season who hammered us in the first half, with us playing long ball football. This (even with the score still 0-0) puts that kind of performance to shame.

Keep it up City, the goal(s) will come. Silva, Adebayor, Jo all on the bench if need be.

We've been dominant but passing from side to side 20 yards from OUR goal isn't good football to me.
I don't quite understand your point there Ntini. Would you rather our CB or one of LB or RB got it and just lumped up to Tevez? We are playing the game the way it needs to be played. By passing it between our defenders we are trying to pull the Sunderland forwards and midfielders onto us, thereby creating space for Tevez, Johnson, Milner and Yaya to ply their trade. Long may this continue, and I dearly hope we never have to resort to lumping the ball up to forwards (apart from the last minute of a game?).

Sorry wrote it wrong but we are still passing the ball back to the goalie after about 15 pointless passes like last season.

I miss having pace on the wings tbh.

Banned so soon? :o)

Good possession in that first half. We used the ball quite well. Had a few chances to go one up (Tevez and Yaya).

I do think AJohnson should play on the left as a left footer, and Milner from the right using his right; because Sunderland are getting loads of men in the middle of their half and our wingers cutting inside isn't working as it's easy for them to break down.

But other than that a good half.

We must stay patient. The difference between Chelsea/United and everyone else, is that they remain on task and focused even in the 93rd minute, they don't get frustrated and give up!
