In what way are the players you've listed 'available to us'?

Mata has just signed a new contract, stating in the process that he wants to stay at Valencia. He's not available.

Bojan has just signed a new contract, stating in the process that doesn't want to leave Barca. Ever. He's not available.

Hazard has stated that he wants to go to Arsenal in the summer, and would therefore more than likely snub any advances we made, so isn't available.

Joaquin is shit - he may well be available, but he's exactly the kind of player we shouldn't be just chucking money at so we can say we've signed somebody.

Elia I'll give you, but he hardly represents 'The Football World', so I don't see whay's worth getting upset about in terms of us not signing him.

A classic bit of Bluemoon Drama-Queenery. The fact is that there was fook all time left to sort a decent player out, and very limited availability - we'd have been in danger of overpaying on another average player, who we'd be desperate to get rid of 12 month's time but would be unable to because we'd be paying them such high wages because their agent had us over the barrel on deadline day.

We've done enough of that over the past couple of seasons to know its not the route to success.
 
Having watched Dzeko alot in german league i think an on form torres would be streets ahead of dzeko on his day. I hope im proved wrong.

Wow, i must have missed these transfers today, who did they go to :)

Maybe they just were not for sale, we don't need to buy for the sake of it.

We seriously need to bring somebody in. not seb larrson. a fast winger with pace, skill and a good delivery. young, sanchez, carzola ... anybody.
