I agree with Bob. When the january window opened i thought we needed at least 3 more players. We got Dzeko so then that was 2 needed but then we let Ade and RSC go so imo we needed another striker preferably a youngster like Lukaku or an older player on loan. Then the other 2 players would be a winger and a central midfielder. The problem is we have bought a 6ft4 striker yet we dont have a winger who can put a decent cross into him. Now AJ is out we have 1 winger and SWP isnt good enough to cover for 3 months because on his inconsistency. Unless we sign 3 players in the next 4 hours then i think we are going to be in a battle with Spuds for 4th again and not challenging for the title which we should be. The rags are top with a game in hand, Arse also have a game in hand and Chelsea are buying the best striker in the world and a top young defender yet we arent doing anything.

The idea that we need to keep buying players every time someone gets injured is crazy. United don't have cover for Rooney, or Vidic if they get injured. They just have to get on with it and pick Owen or O'Shea.

Arsenal likewise without Nasri or Fabregas will have problems.

You can't just stockpile players. Johnson is the replacement for Silva. He's now injured. Mancini will just have to decide whether he's going to use SWP or Milner wide out now.

We still have plenty of permutations.

Given that de Jong, Yaya and Barry form the middle three

we have Milner, Tevez, Dzeko, Silva, Jo, SWP to perm up front

Then Balotelli comes back so.
