If our squad has "plenty of ammunition", then which creative player do we field if Silva is seriously injured?
this for me is the big problem. i'd be happy if we didn't sign anyone and brought weiss back but i dont know if thats possible

I detest the Milner bashing...he's playing on the wing FFS, he's a central midfielder.
Silva is a few levels above Milner.
Anyways he would replace Yaya.

a creative midfielder is a luxury, United don't have one, Chelsea don't have one, and they've won the title the last billion years running. You change your style of play when one isn't in the lineup. We'd motor on without Silva, any combo of Mario, Tevez, Dzeko, Yaya, Milner, maybe the football wouldn't be as eye-pleasing but we'd make do.
