I despair. So Chelsea buy injury prone striker for 50 million.

In the last 6 months we have bought Dzeko, Balotelli and Silva, Yaya, Boateng, Milner, Kolarov to add to a team that already contained de Jong, Kompany, Hart, Richards, Kole, Zabaleta, Barry and of course Tevez.

We have plenty of ammunition and now we won't have so many so called unhappy stars on the bench. RSC, Adebayor, Bridge have gone.

Good transfer window if you ask me.

Stop that sensible talk now.
Oh stop it.

Silva or Tevez get injured. You have to replace them with Jo and Wright-Phillips. When we could have had somebody like Elia.

Question for you: Silva gets injured against the Baggies on Saturday. Who do you play?

Jo?
Point = proven.

I'll ask you the same question.

If our squad has "plenty of ammunition", then which creative player do we field if Silva is seriously injured?

Stick Jo in the middle and push Kompany out on the left wing.

Still not creative tho liam.

a creative midfielder is a luxury, United don't have one, Chelsea don't have one, and they've won the title the last billion years running. You change your style of play when one isn't in the lineup. We'd motor on without Silva, any combo of Mario, Tevez, Dzeko, Yaya, Milner, maybe the football wouldn't be as eye-pleasing but we'd make do.

We should have got Benayoun before he went Chelsea...would have been perfect for the Europa League and cups.

When Silva doesn't play, we seriously struggle.

Just Nani and Lampard, then?

Milner...

I detest the Milner bashing...he's playing on the wing FFS, he's a central midfielder.
Silva = creativity. Milner = workrate and...
I agree, against Notts Co, without Tevez and before Silva came on, plenty of effort but we were lacking creativity and width. Notts Co. are just above relegation in League One!

To be honest, I was just being sarcastic.

I meant Vieira...

let's not forget we won't be playing a weakened side for the rest of the season. Gut-check time in the league, inevitable 5th round FA Cup tie with a Premiership side, knockout rounds in the Europa.
