Oh stop it.joe mancini said:robbieh said:I despair. So Chelsea buy injury prone striker for 50 million.
In the last 6 months we have bought Dzeko, Balotelli and Silva, Yaya, Boateng, Milner, Kolarov to add to a team that already contained de Jong, Kompany, Hart, Richards, Kole, Zabaleta, Barry and of course Tevez.
We have plenty of ammunition and now we won't have so many so called unhappy stars on the bench. RSC, Adebayor, Bridge have gone.
Good transfer window if you ask me.
Stop that sensible talk now.

If our squad has "plenty of ammunition", then which creative player do we field if Silva is seriously injured?

a creative midfielder is a luxury, United don't have one, Chelsea don't have one, and they've won the title the last billion years running. You change your style of play when one isn't in the lineup. We'd motor on without Silva, any combo of Mario, Tevez, Dzeko, Yaya, Milner, maybe the football wouldn't be as eye-pleasing but we'd make do.
Just Nani and Lampard, then?Andouble said:The Fixer said:Still not creative tho liam.

I agree, against Notts Co, without Tevez and before Silva came on, plenty of effort but we were lacking creativity and width. Notts Co. are just above relegation in League One!MCFC BOB said:Silva = creativity. Milner = workrate and...mcfcliam said:Milner...
I detest the Milner bashing...he's playing on the wing FFS, he's a central midfielder.

Silva or Tevez get injured. You have to replace them with Jo and Wright-Phillips. When we could have had somebody like Elia.
