i would be surprised if we did'nt sign someone today,as a club you can never stand still and should always be looking to improve your squad,with one or two signings,not scatter gun approach as we have from spurs or panic buying, but even before adam johnson's injury i would have hoped we would still buy,but more so now...

My thoughts aswell... Torres is simply lacking confidence at the moment, currently playing for a club which has had all its best players going out and crap players coming in. I think if he joined us he would find his confidence again... unfortunately, the club seems to have taken no interest.

Perhaps Bobby doesn't rate him... fair play given Torres's current form.
