It would be the funniest thing to see us gazump Chelsea and get Torres just like we did Robinho. I remember Andy Jacobs hating us for that, and to hear his little ramblings again would make my day. Can't see it though.

From shopping in Harrods to shopping in poundland and back again LOL

Not necessarily - they are just hedging their bets just in case.

We have to buy Elia at 12mill.. He's pure class.

And Hamburg have been a great partner before, giving us quality players at a good price.

Pen to paper and all that mate but with Suarez all but done and the bid for Carroll, the money has come from somewhere and i would guess it isn't from the owners pocket.

These deals have been financed by Torres move.

Despite recently signing a new contract, Sergio Aguero will be allowed to leave Atletico at the right price according to the club president.

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo answered questions surrounding the future of Sergio Aguero, suggesting that if a club wants to match Atleti's asking price, 'Kun' can leave.

The announcement to Marca follows reports that Real Madrid and other European big spenders were interested in acquiring the Argentine hitman.

Cerezo claimed he will permit a move for Aguero, but only if the appropriate money is offered to Atleti. The rest comes down to the intentions of the forward himself.

"If the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, will offer me €45 million for Aguero, and he expresses a desire to leave the club, I will be counting my money," the president of the Rojiblancos said.
