sounds like Lass Diarra to Spurs is almost done. Shoring up their midfield - Diarra and Sandro in the midfield to allow VDV, Bale, etc. to do their thing. They will be trouble again this season.

IMO, it's a good deal for Newcastle. Exiled players in the top teams are usually underrated.
