I don't think it's the tiki taka that's failing as much as absolutely horrendous defending.

I agree in part, but Spain can't keep hold of the ball against the pace and physicality of the Dutch.

We have seen this in the euro 12 game Spain vs Italy. The Italians had numerous chances with those long balls. In that case it was targeted at their overlapping wingbacks

Spain had the advantage of a completely drained and exhausted Italian team in that final, too.

I was referring to the group stage match where it ended 1-1. But in all honesty the Italians should have won if not for bad finishing and Casillas in great form
