I didn't watch the post match crap, was the reason croatias 2nd goal was disallowed clarified

Ball never went out of play judging from the replays, commentators mentioned the linesman had his flag up, so i'd assume the linesman flagged the foul.
Ref could of and should of overruled him.

Very sorry about my outburst last night, too many beers and fed up with FIFA officials ruining everything..
to anyone I offended I offer my sincerest apologies..

brazil were dire....only for neymar, oscar and silva. rest were a joke.

Certainly not the flair of Brasil teams of the past.. They wont make the finals playing like that but with a little help from under par refs...who knows.

Modric and Rakitic ran the game last night, still can't believe they were on the losing side

Was impressed with Oscar and Neymar they really saved their teams bacon last night

Can you imagine if they had a decent centre midfielder to go with their defence and forward line :)

Brazil weren't great, but can't write them off. Opening day nerves, and a lot of pressure, building momentum is important if you want to win a tournament, look at Italy in 82, or even Spain last time around. They will top the group, the Mexico and Cameroon teams are probably the poorest Mexico and Cameroon teams ever in a World Cup. The referee will get hammered which is a shame really.
why is it a shame? It was a shambolic performance by him and he cheated Croatia out of that match. Deserves all the abuse he gets.

Spot on. Awful refereeing. To give that yet:
- Not send Neynar off for smacking Modric in the face...
- & Disallow a Croatian goal because the Brazilian goalie was poor...
Was just dreadful.

Very poor referee. Neymar clearly looked for Modric before he put the cowardly arm in his face - definite red card - the players reactions were a good indication. The penalty was a joke but the ref couldn't wait to give it - in some ways the Croatian coach was right - let's go home it's obvious you are going to present the World Cup to Brazil - so why hang around. The only fly in the ointment is that I'm not sure a bit of dodgy officialdom and some major play acting (cheating) will be enough to get this Brazil team over the line. In the next round they will get Spain or the Netherlands and on last nights showing Brazil will struggle. For all the hype there are some very average players - with inflated egos in that side - Hulk instantly comes to mind.
