Offside rule changed after Silva's goal against Villa

Would that goal still be legit in European games then?
Surely uefa/fifa have to be involved, can't have different rules league to league.
I know leagues can have different rules in regard to foreign players allowed and things like that, but actual rules of the game on the pitch being played are worldwide are they not

When Michael Owen said, live on tv, in a fit of rage immediately after the game 'i guarantee you the rules will change after this', i thought to myself, Shut it Clueless Twat. Guarantee, pft, can't change rules midseason just because you don't like the team that played by them.

Shows what i fucking know!

Professional footballer admits to not knowing the fucking rules.

And this **** plays for ENGLAND.

think if i owned Villa i would be taking action against him. I would expect any play I sign to know the rules. Both my manager and player would be fined for not knowing the rules of football. Both have gone public and admitted they dont know the off side rule making him and Villa look stupid.

Little mikey is part of the gang

The hysteria around City's goal is so predictable but the reaction to change the rules is pathetically embarrassing and transparently city-phobic. The FA should be ashamed of themselves, bent fuckers.
