Oh de Jong

Nigel played a pivotal role in our FA Cup and League Title success. He played the ball into Sergio before the one-two with Mario lying on the ground. Most players would have hoofed it forward. He is a class act and if it wasn't for Kia the snake he would still be with us.

Was absolutely pivotal in the Fa cup season but on the periphery in the title winning season as his lack of mobility and attacking ability was found out in the new system. I'm not having it that he was a pivotal role in the title winning season and the goal was all about Sergio and Mario, de Jong can take little or no credit at all for it IMO

Whatever your feelings concerning the season as a whole De Jong was absolutely instrumental in the build up to Aguero's goal. From the time he came on he was driving us forward and played a cracking ball forward for the third goal.

Milan are a completely different team w Nige in the squad.

They are calmer, more assured, much more physical and dominant. His health this season may be the determining factor between us challenging for the scudetto, or landing outside of a CL spot. He IS that important to us.

El Shaarawy and Balotelli both, will benefit boat loads from him being on the pitch as well. They both needed him as a "Sheriff" to cut down on the brutal tackles they receive.

If you think a ten yard ball played under no pressure at all to a player in space 40 yards out from goal is a 'cracking ball' then you must have thought gelson fernandes was a football genius

No pressure?Do you understand the game at all?Looking at a packed defence needing a goal for the title most players would have lofted one in and hoped for the best,Nige picked the right option and the rest as they say is history. He also travelled maybe 30 yards with the ball at his feet looking and waiting for the right option and for you to say he had little or no hand in it is pretty churlish imo.

No pressure applied by the qpr players to him when he played it, hence why it was a completely bog standard ball and cannot in any way, shape or form ever be described as 'cracking'. Complete and utter delusion to claim so

Just because he didn't do something shit (hoof it) doesn't mean that what he did was good. It was standard. No more, no less. The good stuff was done by Mario and Aguero

Picking the right option is always important and he did,he gave the ball to Aguero so he could turn and go at QPR.imo it was a cracking ball when all things are considered and I for one will always remember his part in that goal but then I realise the importance of all players who contribute not just those who finish a move. You give him no credit whatsoever and that in any world cannot be right but you are entitled to your opinion it's just I don't agree. My delusion enables me to give credit where I feel it is due and I'm happy enough with that.

So do I, but for the goal de Jong did very little of note, Balotelli on the other hand was fucking brilliant. The way in which he delayed the pass that split second under the pressure he was under was genius

Personally I think Lescott deserves more credit than de Jong for the aguero goal

HaHa now I know you are on the wind up.Lescott nods the ball 10 yards to DeJong who carries the ball 30 yards goes one way comes back inside enabling Aguero to come off his man then plays a 'CRACKER' to Aguero who in turn feeds Mario who falls over and scoops an excellent 5 yard pass to Aguero who finishes majestically.I won't get into an argument about it though lad.

Lescott actually has to win the header against an opponent though. He actually had to do something well as opposed to what de Jong did, which is what pretty much anyone in the stadium could have done.

As for carrying the ball 30 yards, well yes he did but it was hardly a fucking maradona type run was it? It's not even like he carried it at pace. Keepers carry the ball 30 yards when under no pressure like de Jong was. It was bog standard - no more, no less. Absolutely nothing of note
