Oh dear Ade

Leading anti-gun campaigner Ermina Bell, who took two of her children to the concert, hit out at Adebayor, saying he 'should know better'.

HAHA. you couldn't make it up.

Never Heard of 50 cents but if i was going to take my kids to a concert i would have checked what band i was going to see The word "rapper" would have told me all i wanted to know and what to expect .

And i aint an anti gun campaigner FFS !!!!!!!

Mrs Bell said: "He more than most should be aware of this. Whether he thinks it or not he is a role model and kids do look up to him. If they see him dressed like this then they will think it is appropriate and copy it.

"Maybe he thought it was an appropriate thing to wear. But he should ask himself: What is this saying to people?"

I say " She more than most should be aware of this. Whether she thinks it or not she is a role model to her kids who look up to her. If they are taken to a concernt that is using lyrics promoting being a gangster ,then they will think its appropriate and copy it."

"maybe she thought it was an appropriate concert to go too, but she should ask herself: what is it saying to her kids? "

I couldn't give a flying fuck what he wears during his social life. You'd have thought they'd have better things to do than to be judges of his fashion sense. End of the day he can wear what he wants. He is a grown adult, he isn't wearing a t-shirt saying "I was on that Togo bus and lived to tell the tale" with a gun on it is he? No!

If people feel the need to complain about what he wears in his free time and if they seriously think that when he put on that t-shirt he thought "Oh shit, better not wear that, I was involved in that Togo bus terrorist attack" then they're delluded. I think it shows a clear state of mind through doing this, that he is living his life and getting on with it. If you cannot bring the same event to a close like the player himself has then that is your problem, not his isn't it?

i'm sick of hearing more about his of the pitch antics than on. (no i'm not talking about the shooting, as that was horrible)

c'mon ade. show us what you can really do.

He is a professional footballer. Not a group of people who, in general, are known for their intelligence.

He can wear what he wants and I couldn't care less. Other than looking at it and thinking he is a complete dick then it doesn't register.

Mind you, I'd think anyone wearing it was a complete dick as obviously, somewhere along the line when purchasing the said t-shirt he must have gone through one of the following thought processes:

"Hey, I will look really good in this t-shirt with a gun on the front, I'll buy it."

Which is obviously bollocks.

Or, more likely

"Wow, a t-shirt with a gun on the front. I'll buy that and people will see it and recognise that I am street and well into the gangster/hip hop scene."

In which case he is obviously a dick because it is a gun, not a music t-shirt so he must get off on 'gangsta' cock waving and bravado bullshit.

Either way he is a dick, but there are thousands of dicks who think the same and who think that wearing a picture of a gun on their front says something about them. So in the big picture, it's not worth bothering about, other than to shake your head at his reasoning.

PS: I don't mind 50 cents music but anyone who thinks he isn't a bit of a tool, posing with guns all the time, needs to sort themselves out.
