To be honest, I'm not sure if you agree with me or not, lol.

I know the OP is a City fan so he doesn't fall into he category of the people on here who have fuck all feeling for City but have followed their favourite players to this board and only wish to talk them up whilst slagging other City players and fans who don't share their hero worship.
However, he is beginning to sound an awful lot like them.
He needs to ask himself what it is about Balotelli that makes him so attached to him and desperate to discuss him in a manner not reserved for other players. No doubt the old "I don't like the way other people treat/talk about him" line will be used. But for me, reading this constant rhetoric about him, it is hard to conclude that the obsession with him isn't fuelled by some sort of admiration for Mario The Character/The Top Man/The Role Model rather than just, as it should be, Balotelli The Footballer.
Im not a fan of his antics I see them as just that childish antics what is my attraction to Mario? I understand him there are many brothers out there who behave like Mario only difference is he has money, super talent and is tabloid fodder.
I think you are too forgiving of a player now whose reckless fouls have cost us dearly in significant games. I doubt very much if his team mates are so forgivingNotinmylifetime said:The scum bought Cuntona and despite all his antics, which were a lot worse than Balo, helped them win trophies. We can do the same with Balo because he will learn. He will still be targetted more than any other player by other players, refs and the media. Every player winds him up and rolls over countless times when he tackles them and the other players surround the ref demanding a card. To be honest I'd wager not many players could withstand all that.
He kicks goalposts and the grass because he cares and wants to score and win. Yes a bit immature but he'll grow out of it. As for the media and pundits sticking the knife in....didnt Beckscum once get this after an England sending off? He was branded a silly boy in a team of lions but his career didnt go to pieces did it?
Give Balo our support and one more year. If he matures he will be an asset....if not, then get rid. I watched the arse game 3 times and followed Balo closely...he did an amazing amount of work and tracking back, despite the commentators saying Lescot gave him stick which is debatable. As for Joe calling him an idiot....well he was upset and probably right. Tevez in my opinion deserves the abuse far more than someone who stayed, played and tried his best against massive obstacles.
And yes he was stupid to tackle Song early doors like that and deserved a red, but I've done the same before as a young player against an opposition player who deliberately ended the game of one of my team mates ( admittedly it wasn't Yaya though as my team mate ). So all in all, give him one more year...and Mancini...we all learn by our mistakes and I believe we'll be better off for it next year. Sell him to the scum? Never!
Do I get to keep the sum personally?didactic said:Would you allow him to be sold to United for £30 000 000?

In the last home game he came very close to losing it with the crowd with that argument over the free-kick and for me he is a liability. The other point is that his game is not that good either.
When he was in Italy he had some explosive pace and even more trickery. That seems to have vanished from his game.
The one bit of insight mancini has offered in recent weeks concerns Mario. He will lose his talent in 2-3 years if he carries on like this.
