went as expected, perfectly done deadline day, and clearly saved ourselves £30-40m in transfer fees which fits in with the rest of the window, we weren't going to spend over what we deemed to be fair value, but we've still added some good depth to the squad, young talent as well other than Maicon, we've done alright in the end, not what we may have hoped for in May but we've had plenty of star studded signings over the past few years, we're spoilt really.

That's very true, I've only met him a couple of times and if it was a wum then as a mod he should know better surely ??
Maybe if we had a budget it was the only way to do it?
