Old birthday card with City on (or is it not City?)

Friend of mine posted this on Facebook yesterday, a card he received in the mid 70's and had kept it.
Is it City playing Coventry? I assumed it was Mike Doyle (no 4) but don't recall us wearing red socks.
Only other team I recall in red / black stripes is Bournemouth but unless it was a cup game they wouldn't have been playing Cov.

Definitely Coventry at Highfield Rd.

Looks like Doyle from the back although I think we usually wore black socks with that kit.

My first thought was Arthur Mann but I'm not certain about it.

Got to be bournmouth, am sure we never had the red stripe on the shorts this is their kit from 70-71 which fits



But they never played each other so would have to be a friendly.


Saying that the players do look like Doyle and Bowyer
