It's my ex's birthday today just been texting her to arrange to take her out for something to eat tonight as doubt very much her kids will do anything

They never bothered with mothers day so I bought her a few little gifts and a card, my sister and brother both sending her cards as we don't like the thought of not getting any from her mum, 3 kids or 4 brothers. If she does I'd be surprised and delighted.

Also told her if they don't arrange anything at weekend I'd take her the coast for the day.

I still love her with all my heart but not sure we could ever get together as a couple.
