Old Hollywood Stars

I'd stretch that to the 50's, 60s and possibly 70s, to varying degrees.
But yes, the early days are thinly reported unfortunately. It must have been total debauchery, given the amount of money being spread about as the industry exploded.
You're right about todays stars, boring as fuck
Wasn’t there a film about this maybe about 10 years back may have been made by Spielberg about a Hollywood fixer his name was Bendix or similar, sorted problems for the stars at one of the studios in the days 40’s or 50’s ..

Don't know, but if there isn't, there should be...

I remember my Gran saying she thought Cagney couldn't act his way out of a paper bag
But then she saw him dance....and she was amazed

Years ago I loved reading books about the stars.
This week I have binged read books about them again.

They were SO talented. They could act, dance, sing or whatever. Not all of them admittedly, but many.

My favourites, for their sheer versatility and/or individuality were Judy, Cagney, Gene Kelly, John Garfield, Cary Grant, James Dean, Bette Davis.

I love the old stars, I had a picture made up for my bedroom which no one else will have. Took a photo to show on here but it says image is too large to post. Not sure why it's not even big.
