Sat on my arse
I'm City till I die, City till I die...

You are my City, my only City, you make me happy...

Super Mark Kennedy...

If I had the arse of a camel and I had the wings of a crow...

Yeah, I can only remember the shit ones that are no longer sung for a reason haha.
If I had the wings of a sparrow if I had the arse of a cow

(I know loads of arguments but this is what I remember)

All those years singing "city are back" and hoping it stayed like that. I'd love it if it became a season opener just in a thank fuck summers over kinda way.

I can remember going to a game at Maine Road in the late sixties/early seventies , and entering the kippax ,we were handed a song sheet with several songs on it , one of them was= To the tune of Once in Royal David's City.

Once in Royal Manchester City
Stood a stand called Kippax street
Where the fans they sang and chanted
Just to see Colin Bells feet
Summerbe upon the wing
You can hear the City fans sing
City City City

City City City
Thousands of young blues in the Kippax chanting CITY (then clapping 3 times above their heads)

A sight to behold and a sound to remember forever.

plus (number of claps above head) 1,2 ....1,2,3 ...... 1,2,3,4 CITY

Or am I dreaming again?

Rutland Water.
To the tune of Top of old Smokey.
On top of all England now stand the Sky blues
Who we will all follow
Win or lose
Now we are the Kippax and when we all cheer
It sounds just like music
In Joe Mercers ears
So come on and join us
We're here to stay,so long as the kippax and all of say,CITY CITY CITY CITY.Remember singing that 67/68 season.
