I remember Neil Mcnab turning to the Kippax & clapping mid game when he had been warned about "Man On!" by a good few thousand people :-)

Same here. Not much about them on the internet, but seems like they were a Salford brewery, somewhere around Weaste. Bought out by Wilsons in 1949.

That explains why Wilsons was so big. Shit ale though
