Yes does not look like Maine Road but could be wrong. Oldham or maybe Bury?

Gutted we always stood just to the left of this picture up the side of the tunnel, would give anything to see myself and mates.

Paul Sinha explained on the Chase tonight how Maine Road got its name.

The first US State to enact a prohibition law was Maine, and there was a huge temperance movement in Manchester at the time. So they named the road after the US State.

Bloody interesting fact that I was never aware of.

It's the angle it's taken at. It's this walkway here where I used to stand above as a kid in the 90s.

Gutted we always stood just to the left of this picture up the side of the tunnel, would give anything to see myself and mates.

I couldn't believe it when I saw that photo. It made my day haha. First time I'd seen it for 30 years or so.

Above that walkway there was a small gap where kids used to stand every match, then behind that the crazy corner or whatever it was called.
If I got there late and couldn't get a spot I was in trouble because I'd struggle to see and get trampled on, which happened a couple of times.
