I went to both so probably was the Ipswich rather than Norwich match I remember. For a memory of over 40 years ago I wasn't that far out. ;-)Yes - Norwich & Ipswich in October 1976. I did quite a long story on this in a talk I did at the Dancehouse in April last year and I've a page on it in my Manchester City Folklore book (page 37 for anyone who has it). It was first aired (without words) at Ipswich (based on a showing of The Vikings on ITV in London a few days before) and then the next game was away at Norwich and it was aired there too (Granada TV had shown the film on the Wednesday before that game).
