Old songs

Away at Peterborough 1981 (I think), to the tune of Ant Music...

So get down to Maine Road and do yourself a favour
Red footballs lost it taste so try another flavour
Man City y y y y
Man City y y y y

"In my Liverpool Home "

We speak with an accent exceedingly rare,
Meet under a statue exceedingly bare,
If you want a Cathedral we've got one to spare,
In my Liverpool Home.
Wasn't this the theme tune to the Liver Birds?

Not the least bit offensive and from a more innocent age, does anyone remember "2,4,6,8, who do we appreciate?", followed by "A, C, E, S - ACES!" at Belle Vue Speedway?

I like their 'City are a massive club' song. We should sing it back to rags. The irony of it is so sweet nowadays I think.

After west ham in 2014 this was being sung on repeat for a few hrs in the back of fringe, with various tables of blues adding verses as they were remembered.

With much excitment when it got to the curly watts verse, him being a city legend after all ;-)

City score city score
Then you’ll hear the crowd road
John bond will be happy
He’ll shit in his nappy
So score city score
