Old TV Series You Remember Fondly ...

Showing my veteran status here:

Two of the greatest comedy shows ever on tv:

Sergeant Bilko and The Honeymooners. I would also include I Love Lucy.

More recently Lost in Space. Purely because of Dr Smith.
Sergeant Bilko was superb. He always had a scam, would inspire and involve his troops and by the end they'd be left desperate and wearied. It was virtually the same formula every episode but always great to watch.

Sorry to digress, this is not intentional but I think this could also sum up Peter Swales stewardship at Man City. Apologies again, back on track. Rainbow. I remember Geoffrey losing it on one episode with Bungle to the extent he couldn't possibly have been acting, the ramifications were felt by his other two cohorts.

Rentaghost. Remember that angry, permanently enraged, frightening boss who was always so frightening and furious he couldn't get a hat large enough for his bilious enormous head?

Arthur C Clarke Mysterious World
Superstars
Tales Of The Unexpected
The Bionic Woman
Logan's Run (The TV one not the film)
Prisoner
Tenko
Plus many of what have been mentioned earlier such as The Professionals, The Young Ones, Avengers, A Team.

Why Don't You (pretty good theme tune)
Dogtanion & The Muskahounds (good theme tune)
Ulysses 31 (brilliant theme tune!)
Mysterious City of Gold (the granddaddy of all theme tunes)

Gonna have to do some youtubing now!

It ain't half hot mum.
Mind your language
bless this house

Bullying, racist and misogynistic but enough about me, those programs were funny when i was growing up. It ain't half hot mum makes me giggle today still
