Triangle, about life on a north sea ferry. Now that was rubbish.

god that was poor - My sis loved it!

I went on a school trip over to denmark for the weekend (the ferry we were supposed be going to Hamburg on had had a bump in Harwich harbour) and we were on the "Triangle" ferry - sis was soooo jealous!

Gerry Booth, real name Graham Haberfield iirc.
I worked in London briefly in 1969 and used to have my tea at this cafe in Camberwell Green. One night, the Dustbinmen was on the television, and the Greek owner asked if we were all like that "up North". I pointed to my Supporters Club badge and told him that it was true to life for us blues, adding that I would be going to a game at Maine Road the following night. He said we were all mad. I didn't disagree!

Anybody mentioned Torchy, the battery boy, yet?

I always thought that was sung by Michael Holliday

You are correct, Barry Gray wrote the song and actually devised the series but Holliday sung it, incidentally he killed himself three years later...

Tex Tuckers voice was none other than Nicholas (sale of the century) Parsons........:-)
