Wolves fan here. I think you've a very distorted view on our team from watching one game, which was essentially our reserves. Nuno played a very defensive shape and we looked to get you on the break, as going toe to toe to City (even your third team) was never going to end well. And to be fair we had three one on ones and should have won, despite your total domination of possession. Y

But if you'd seen our Championship campaign, with our starting lineup, you would have seen a much different team. Defensively sound yes, as the boss builds his teams from the back, but we played some breathtakingly quick and intricate offensive football that many neutrals put up there as some of the best the second tier has ever seen. Division's top scorers too.

With the players we've got, and looking to sign, we're coming up to compete in the top half (we hope!), not play anti-football to get 17th place minimum. In this respect I think you're completely wrong in your assessment and Zinchenko will find a team and style of play that will be perfect for him.

To be fair though I'm sure I'll pay little attention to the Championship this season so completely understand why you've judged us the way you have.

Anyway, not that you'll ever need it, but good luck the season chaps. There's a hell of a lot of respect for City at Wolves. A lot of parallels between our two clubs, or "proper" clubs, as is our obligatory title!
Fair enough I was just basing it off the game we played, I will take your word on it not being indicative of your normal game. I did say it was nothing personal, nothing against Wolves no reason to.

I hope wolves get relegated again back to the championship, I cant do with em, cos they got a 0-0 draw at our place, they should of beat us blah blah blah. I don't forget reading there forum and them mentioning the "emptyhad" and how they should get more tickets etc. Great fans of other teams should never get involved in what the rags have to say about us, they should form there own opinion, that's it rant over.
Haha yeah that was a bit of stretch IMO too, I too remember how the game really was and the reactions after it.

To be fair though looking at some of our own fans they'd have been just as bad in the same position, some fans just use what's readily available to get under the skin of the opposition... in their mind they probably think they are just being a "good fan" fortunately they don't represent the whole fanbase though.

We played some of if not the best football in the Championship. We start with a solid defensive organised base and we are good at set-pieces, but we played patient possession based football with the ability to turn it to quick incisive attacking. We scored the most goals, had the best defence in the league, scored the most goals from set-pieces (Douglas the LB had the most assists in the league), had the 2nd most goals from open play (Fulham were 1st), most goals from counters, etc.

This is the best team goal we scored last season, and one that even Man City fans would be pleased with I reckon.

My mate Phil is a big Wolves fan and I've been to see them beat the rags and Birmingham at Molineux.

Top fans, top ground. Wish them all the best.

must of been a great watch last season.

My sis inlaw is a wolves fan so I always look out for them watched alot of their games last season and imo they will easily survive in the prem ,quality team wouldn't surprise me if they finish top 10

I hope you're right. There's always that nagging feeling that everyone is bigging us up too much and it won't be as easy as everyone thinks for us. I'd happily take anywhere around mid-table right now. I'm confident we shouldn't get involved in a prolonged relegation scrap, although there are bound to be bad runs of form at some point.

You boys will surprise a few next season and i hope you not only stay up but give it a right go.

Trust me, the so called big boys aside, the rest are very ordinary and you have fuck all to fear.

Think bookies already have them as 7th favourites. So they won't be a surprise package as such. I was impressed with them in the cup and that was their reserves. I'm old enough to remember Andy Gray playing for them and wish them well

Reminds me of the year we came up with Keegan. We were awesome in the Championship. The Premiership was a lot tougher. Still finished 9th which was fairly good. But the next years were all over the place.

I suspect Wolves will be similar. Top half this season but after the honeymoon it’ll be a roll of the dice.
