This can’t be true.

Our resident expert Dax told us all he has world class potential at LB. Why would we sell him for such a low fee??

Nothing against the lad, but not good enough for this team and this squad.

Struggled at times last season.

Played out of position to fill in.

Would never get a game this coming season.

Good bit of money for FFP.

Wolves maybe his level?

All the best.

PS. Got a PL medal.

Seeing your so in to our academy I’m surprised you didn’t know the lad never played for our academy.
I have actually replied about my mistake. Again I've been away 12 years so don't take as much notice of goings on around the club apart from watching each game at stupid o'clock. I did manage to attend Newcastle at home in January though if that puts me back on superfan status.

Been away you say how did you watch games at funny hours during lock down?
tempted to call bullshit on that one.

Another good fee for a player who hasn't played that many games. Fair play to Txixi as he's done well negotiating sales in recent years. Iheanacho, unal, bony, rodwell, mooy, jovetic all commanded decent fees. I'll forgive him the £11m for Dzeko.

Away in Australia I assume from his location and with the time difference, most games are going to be during the night over there.

A bit harsh on Wolves tbh, I thought they played good football last season, and clearly have an outstanding manager. They held us for 2 hours at our place, and from what I recall they played mostly reserves, it wasn’t just us
Horrible might have been harsh I guess but surely you see my point about the style of football they play not suiting a player like him(kind of like Shaqiri at Stoke for years seems a waste of talent for the football they play)... were they attacking, free flowing and moving the ball around or were they defensive, organised and resilient? I understand why they played that way, they wanted the upset by any means necessary and fair play to them but the football played between them and Bristol was night and day for me, despite them not having a successful season they play much better football. The question is which is more important to a player still learning given his age? A higher finish or in a team playing the right way for his game?

I've nothing against Wolves but as I said I wouldn't blame him if he didn't fancy it, the wrong move can stall a player and when it's nothing to do with money you can't really hold it against the player. This is his career, his development as a player we are talking about who may well want to reach the top ranks some day... If Jamie Vardy and Rickie Lambert can achieve what they did from their beginnings who knows how far this already talented lad can go with the right attitude?

If this is a done deal, good luck to the lad I say, I just didn't like the idea of pushing him out the door like some seemed to be leaning towards just because the money's not shit for a change.

good post that and totally agree. seems a top lad and the squad like him but takes up a space and more importantly makes us a solid amount of money on the initial investment.
