Out of interest, could you see Podence making a 'step up' if we were to show an interest? By 'step up' I mean no offence and simply mean not joining us to become a squad player but someone who could actually be an automatic starter in the CL games.

Reports now saying Southampton and Leicester are supposedly interested in him, along with Wolves and West Ham.

Can hopefully get a decent fee for him. He's at least a 20m player in the market as is.

He has done a job for us, but I can’t see where he will get games for us. Time to let him go, free up a space and get someone who may be challenging for a first team slot. I really like Tierney at the Arse for left back, centre mid is also an area we need to improve (no idea who) and also a forward (obviously - think we should put a bid in for messi to see what is what). You are probably right but I have nagging doubts because I have seen Zinchenko play superbly for Ukraine as a central midfielder. For example he dominated a portugese midfield with Bernardo, Bruno Fernandez, and Moutinho in it when they beat them in the Euros. He has never really played in his correct position for City. He could be a future flop or he could still become "one that got away."

Zinchenko's is an odd one. If Cucurella would come, then his playing time as an LB is much more limited. While as midfielder, unfortunately, we have more talented players at these positions. Great servant, nice personality, but in terms of his career, I would seriously consider a transfer move.
