No issues with him wanting to stay and fight.
If, as rumoured, he has decided against leaving, despite being told he is not likely to play much, I can't really blame him; especially if he is backing himself to force himself back into the reckoning. He is young enough to take that chance and City is probably a great place to be right now.
I reckon Kevchenko (as I've just seen him referred to on Twitter) can do a job in the DM role but he may be one of about six options to sub for Dinho so it will be a battle for game time.
