With regard to Al hammadi's comments on twitter, he said:
Omar is doing well in the training with City and Mancini and his staff seems to be happy about his performance so far, and thus, he will likely be offered a four years contract.

With regard to his presence with Khaldun. it does mean only one thing, which is that Khaldun as a UAE citizen offers psychological support to Omar who is playing for UAE National team. This does not mean that there is a relationship between the owner and the player, or even between Khaldun and the player at all.

In my opinion it is difficult to judge the skills of a new player just through two weeks training.
Looking back to the Olympics,we will find that players such as Suarez and even Martinez did not do well at all and their performance was average, actually Omar outperformed them especially Suarez in the match between Uruguay and UAE.
It is difficult to judge the skills of the player through a short period where there are no friendly matches strong, and I think Omar is worth a try because he is talented young player
