My understanding is that the vast majority of his experience is on the commercial side and his background in pure football, (strategy, principles, player identification, squad building, is quite limited.

That sounds like one or two of the managers they've had over the past few years :-)

Raines who worked on the deal get 31.5 million but that has to be paid by the club.

is it beyond the realms of all imagination that he is going in undercover?
