Omar Berrada to the rags | TLDR: They want to be us

So Omar is now nailed on to replace Lord Sugar in the next series of the Apprentice given he’s the greatest business brain in the northern hemisphere.

Wait until he starts unearthing the shit show at old toilet, he will wish he had stayed where he was, at the best run club on earth … !
Who's to say that that's the end of the story. We could possibly poach him back if Ferran retires, we don't have someone lined up and as you say, he discovers that the grass isn't greener over there

I had heard of him 4 or 5 years ago. Mostly because of his COO (Chief Operating Officer) title. As I had worked for a number of those in the finance industry. Traditionally a COO looks after functions like HR, IT, Operations. In City's case Omar's brief was almost all commercial. So the Trafford bunch, having established that Football will be at the centre of their organisation appoint a commercial guy to run it.

As Bob Mortimer would say, Hee, Hee, Hee.
First time I had heard of him was the all or nothing documentary by amazon

It does surprised me if he is able to join them without any significant gardening leave.

He may have alot of knowledge which if he was to join scum and start moving qualiky could effect our strategy
I hope you're right, and that he spends most of his time and resources on concerning himself with our next move, and what we plan on doing over the next 5 years.

The reason being, is that it's simply impossible for them to replicate what we have here at City, and I don't think he's stupid enough to think any different.

I hope he's given no gardening leave, and spends the next few months trying to replicate what's in place at City.

It’s a totally different working environment over there, Taggert stinking the place out a decade after he stepped down doesn’t help them turn things around. He’d be the first person I’d see thrown out of the swamp but Radcliffe hasn’t done that yet. All the clingers on in the background talking about the ‘United way’ and how they are too impatient to do the hard yards to build will make things difficult for their new ceo.

There is a reason why Pep has stayed at City for so long compared to Barcelona and Bayern. He has full control and the likes of Khaldoon provide a working environment where they give people within the club everything they need. Old Trafford is a world away from that and Barrada will have his work cut out changing it.
