If we are found guilty of any of the actually genuinely serious charges, the entire upper management hierarchy are looking at very lengthy bans from football, If not permanent bans and prison sentences too. Leaving the club doesn't exclude you from that.

I don't believe this to be true at all, but, if there was any relevance to the charges in this move, I would say it would be a positive indication we won't see guilty verdicts rather than the opposite.

United aren't going to employ and hand over the reigns of the club to somebody that's got a heads up he's about to be doing time and coming out to a ban.

The latter part of your post is the very reason why the allegations are being discussed as it adds to the narrative that there is nothing to see. By the way there are no charge, only allegations!

Not sure how anyone can say with any degree of certainty that our succession planning saw him replace Soriano at some point in the future. Otherwise, the explanation is simple. More money, more power coupled with zero scruples and a ludicrous belief in his ability to achieve the footballing equivalent of raising the Titanic.

We did it to Barcelona. It was going to happen to us one day. It might not even be INEOS this.. It was reported in May a PL club had come in for him. Then again could have been Newcastle. Here's a question, would the club prefer him the rags or Newcastle? I wonder if behind the scenes we see Newcastle as a bigger threat?

As COO he will have been responsible for running the business day to day but major decisions would have been the CEOs What he doesn't have any experience in is restructuring an organisation, not saying that he wont be brilliant at it but its going to be a "massive" task
