Omar Berrada to the rags

This is hugely concerning and potentially has huge ramifications.

Omar was viewed within the club as a natural successor to Ferran Soriano as CFG’s CEO and played a huge part (In everything) that went on at the club and the wider City football group.

Omar has knowledge and information on absolutely every detail of City’s and CFG’s operation. Something really, really fishy about this.

I have no doubt Khaldoon will have tried to intervene to retain him.
But can he do it on a wet windy night in Stoke

This is disappointing as it will elevate them in the coming years. With close links however, maybe he can quash any underhand tactics by Gill et al.

If anything, this may well push City on even more….

Our inability to retain staff was getting concerning about half a dozen losses ago. We obviously thought very highly of him given his rise and how long hes been here. The statement from the club about him resigning suggests to me we were not willing to let him go unless he quit and there was nothing else we could do.

Sadly, they're not going to fail with him in charge. Even if he's massively out of his depth in that role, which I doubt, he will have picked up more than enough from others at city to make them successful and a serious threat again.

Bad news this. They're not suddenly going to be us overnight but no more joke of a football club going forward.

Hope we retaliate as strongly as possible to this and go after as many youth prospects as we can, it's the only acceptable response.

Oh dear, if true?

He will take everything he knows about the running of City with him.

If true, Sheikh Mansour, Khaldoon and Soriano will be furious.

What happens in big business world when one company want to improve they go after the best in that department! They must of offered him a right wedge

Sam Lee saying it was presumed he would replace txiki.
Wasn't he in a more senior role than txiki so that should have been a step down.

Jokes aside, but if charges are proven he would be culpable like others and possibly get a ban from football. So actually the fact United are taking him may mean they don’t think there will be any issues?
Put it this way - if we are found guilty, I find it hard to see how Berrada wouldn't be implicated, considering his role here.

So he'd be out of a job anyway.
