Depends if the opportunity arises mate at the right time?

Don't know pep will look at our attacking players think that will do till at least the summer! We sort out our midfield get a centre back or a fullback the attacking part will fall more into place..

I just worry that the summer obviously opens up a lot more competition on certain players mate? I would LOVE Nico Williams here and he has a €58m release clause? Always dependent on the player approval of course but if he did say yes and we have an idea that the likes of Bernardo and say Grealish or going then do the deal now?

Never going to happen in Jan but this guy is a must in the summer. His numbers are ridiculous and we wouldn’t have to sign a back up striker IMO which would save money.

Scared he’s having an almighty purple patch like a lot of Bundesliga forwards do. Also, I’m assuming he gets a lot more space to run into than he would here.

The boy can dribble; he turns defenders inside out. Whether he has space or not, he remains highly effective. Not everyone needs "space to run into"—some do just fine with whatever they have. Marmoush, Musiala, Nusa, and Kvara are all exceptional in tight spaces.

Would be interested to know where he would play in our system with Haaland.

Yeah gives us good flexibility. Maybe off the left with Gvardiol overlapping.
Marmoush definitely gives us great flexibility, but he is nothing like Grealish; he doesn’t rely on an overlapping LB. Marmoush can thrive with or without an overlapping player. He’s so gifted that whether he cuts inside, tucks in, goes wide, overlaps, underlaps, or is just direct, he remains highly effective. That’s why he can play LW, RW, AM, and striker with the same intensity.

If Pep wants Gvardiol to overlap, then that’s fine—it’s ultimately his tactical vision. However, it’s not strictly necessary except for specific tactical reasons that could provide an edge Pep may have identified. Given his approach, there’s always a method to the madness, and perhaps he sees overlaps as a way to create overloads, stretch defenses, or exploit particular matchups. While it might not seem essential, Pep’s attention to such details has often been the difference-maker in high-stakes games.

Ultimate I do not think an overlapping player really adds or takes away anything from the way Marmoush operates.

I love this time of year when I get really excited about a player I’ve never heard of or seen play. But he’s got an exotic sounding name so he must be good.
