On a scale of one to ten...

How would you describe your life at the moment?

One being shit.

Ten feeling on top of the world.

And if unfortunately you are at the lower end of the scale, can you envisage things looking up in the foreseeable future?

Been 9.5 for quite a while now

Surprising results so far, I have to say, I anticipated most saying two or three, and moaning about their lot.

Nice to see.

Lost my girlfriend , lost the baby girl I've raised past 3 years since day 1 which hurts more than any words I can type on here.

Luckily. I've moved in with a couple good mates and my work, family and friends have all really helped. If it wasn't for that and my job I would honestly say my life would be a 0 right now.

I've been in a similar situation for 2 years. Lost wife and kids. Divorced now, but I'm hopeful of getting them back.

There's only one direction to move in, and that is forward. Hard to remind yourself but it's true. If 85 is your birth year then it's the same as mine, but it doesn't really matter. It's all the same.

Keep up with the album of the day, I always check it out.

about 8-9 - home life is good, work is currently a PITA (despite the difficult commute), we just got a brand new car and a new doggy is arriving in three weeks

but off to USA on holiday next week to see my daughter so will rise to close to 10 then.

Sorry to hear that, But at least there your kids and you have the comfort of possibly seeing them one day - I've had to walk away completely from my ex and that means leaving the girl I've raised, it's the best thing for her but it feels like she has died to me. I can't ever seen her again.

I am moving forward definately. Been over a month now and it's getting easier. Some days it hits me. Good luck with your situation - 29 is a good age I think for all this crap to happen.
