On a scale of one to ten...

Bout on 8 or 9

Good job, reasonably healthy, surrounded by loving family and good friends and city riding high

I woke up this morning so 11 :)

To you young ones going through the mill hang in there. Life will sort itself out for you,it always does.dust yourself down and get on with the job of being you,not what you were but what you want to be.

Lost my girlfriend , lost the baby girl I've raised past 3 years since day 1 which hurts more than any words I can type on here.

Luckily. I've moved in with a couple good mates and my work, family and friends have all really helped. If it wasn't for that and my job I would honestly say my life would be a 0 right now.

I went through similar just over 3 years ago. Was Absolutely devastated at the time. Is heartbreaking not being able to see your child. Just take every day at a time and it does get better. I have shared access to see my daughter now which was a long battle, but worth it. funnily enough I actually have a pretty decent relationship with my ex now as well. Keep your chin up bud.

The reason I started this thread is I posed the question on another popular forum and expected most replies to be around 2 or 3 with most moaning about one thing or another and bemoaning their lot in life.

I was amazed to see how many posted 8 plus, there was a lot of optimism about...:)

On the downside, this wasn't the case in all the replies, but happily they were in the minority.

At the moment I would say 9, but twelve months ago it would have been 2, as I suffer quite a bit from mood swings, but hopefully things will improve from now on, as I have sorted some long standing issues in my personal life which were dragging me down.

So for anyone feeling down in the dumps at the moment, chin up, there is always hope...:)
