Three top half teams and a lot of dross. Hate too break this to you but when the teams who are pushing for the top 4, or even a Europe spot in general have that run of game they will be doing better.

I said the run of games. Yes Chelsea lost to Wigan, but United beat them 5-0 at the DW stadium and pompey just put 4 past them. Yes Liverpool lost to Fulham but they did have 9 men thanks to some comical refereeing and they are missing Gerrard, Agger, Arbeloa, Aquilani, Torres isnt 100%.

What were doing looks good, this seem ok. But its papering over the cracks. When we start loosing games you can put you mortagage on the teams around us winning.

Were fourth withoug playing well having played team that will finish in the bottom half of the table. Perhaps the use of the word Dross is poor, all team in this league should be well organised and difficult to break down. But when youve played 13 games, 10 of which are against teams outsite the top 10, you need to be winning more, creating more chances and picking up more points.

Thats the point - when are we going to start breaking sweat, and therefore winning some of these games? I actually think that if that pen had gone in today, we may have gone on to win the game as the city plyers seems to need a kick up the arse before they start to play.

I think youve missed my point, were going to have a run of games against teams a lot better than those weve played at the minute and given the way we ar eplaying we wont be picking up the kind of points we are now.

Yes were 4th, but im posting these things now so that when, in my opinion, we find ourselves looking up at 4th position with envy, people wont be saying, where were you when it was going well. Everything is there, the squad is good enough. The team isnt.
