Here you go, we know you are bored but now you have something to talk about on your own forums....

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2009/06/08/1312195/everton-to-bid-7m-for-readings-stephen-hunt-kevin-doyle" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/england/2 ... evin-doyle</a>

No surprise that Moyes is after a dirty kicking twat like Hunt. Typical Everton player.

Seeing the price for players like Kenwynne Jones, Michael Chopra, Farzier Campbell I doubt Reading would let Kevin Doyle go for around £3.5m. I'd expect them to be paying £6-7m for him, maybe around £4m for Hunt.

Transfer speculation. We've been linked with Hunt the Cnut for the last 2 seasons and haven't bought him so dont see why that would change this season. Lazy journalism.

Good player, would fit well into Everton's side (particularly if Pienaar were to depart, which has been rumoured - though it's probably bullshit). But, yes, a complete shit head.

Would be a bit of a 'status quo' signing for the Toffees imo - he's not the kind of player you sign if you want to break into the big four.

I bet they will be awesome at Everton though... Every bloody player is!!! Even Jo did average!

I don't htink Hunt is the best player in the world but he is a very decent one if you want energy, bite and the occassional good cross. He's a bit like Bellamy or Tevez in that effort department. I'd have him here a squad player for that reason alone.

This idea of him being a scumbag is just another myth. I don't buy that one bit - but then I'd have choosen Savage over many back in the day. I like players who don't give a crap what people say - shows they have some courage.
