Haha JOTS' library joining guide for idiots! My nearest library is a 3 minute walk away (Reddish) might bob in tomorrow! It really suprises me that loads of books arent stolen, maybe library users are the least likely to steal then!

could also be whats the use of a book after you read it... you want others to take part of the experience

Years ago I used to like the McBain books. I used to borrow them from the local library and soon realised that another borrower had been reading them before me. He/she used to pencil in notes next to bits that they found funny or disagreed with. Nothing like vandalism, more tiny little notes that used to make me laugh.JOTS will probably disagree, but I actually liked the thought that someone had done that;was almost like we were reading it together. I would have loved to have actually met that person.

About a man that dies and then lives back through meetings with people that had touched his life, and in some apparently insignificant ways at the time. Beautifully written and every person that I have recommended it to has loved it, including at least one who is a serious and prolific book reader.

EDIT ALERT...cock up! It's "FIVE people you meet in heaven....." My apologies.

Ah, by the same authour of Five people? No, in truth, I haven't. Mainly because my mate was desperate to read more of his but didn't think it half as good, so I didn't bother.

Worth it though do you think? Might give it a try after all.

OK, good on ya. If you like stories that are a bit different and touch a part of the soul then you will love it.

well Macca... its absolutely worth a shot if you havent read it... havent read 5 people in heaven though so i cant compare...
so I read 5 people i met in heaven and you read tuesdays with morrie and then we can compare what we think
