No, actually, he was answering in response to what areas is he looking to build on AFTER Aguero.

Yeah, but he said 'like a winger'. Probably talking about a versatile forward. Like a Nasri, etc.

It's interesting because you can classify Nasri as both a midfielder and the forward that Mancini is looking for.

Most people have the consensus that Mancini is going to play far more orthodox 'italian' formations. However, looking at the humiliating defeats some of the imperious italian teams suffered, are we going to get far in europe (as far or further than spurs) this season? I'm of the conviction that we're likely going to be very dynamic. Our team can certainly be effective in a number of ways. Can someone just reassure me about our European debut?

The thing though is you can consider Sneijder, the midfielder which fits in with the Tevez-Inter talks and how they met at the beach in Italy.

You can also consider Nasri as the winger/forward that Mancini is talking about because well he played a wide role for the majority of last season.

Sneijder + Nasri. That'd be fookin' crazy.

^^This^^ And I still believe Mata & possibly another forward may still be an option. We are only 2 players off this line-up which would match any in the Premier League or Europe.... It's incredible to think how far we've progressed in 3 years!!! If we also had Mata on the bench..........?

For financial reasons, i think people can forget Sneijder.

Nasri + Cerci is the most likely combination at the moment.
