One Player You Wish Had Played For City?

Ian Rush. He played for Chester and made a name for himself in a Giant killing cup game with Newcastle 1980 which they won 2.0,(Think he got one).Ian Rush should have come to City about 1980, City showed interest in Rush and although he was an Everton fan he signed for Liverpool, gutted. So he was one we missed, who I wish would have played for us. And funnily enough another I would have loved at City is his partner Dalglish .I would have loved to see Dalglish with Quinny. Quinny had some good touches for a big fella .Any one of those two would have turned a few close games into wins for us in that era.

Well, in the mid 90's probably every other player in the land!

Seriously though, the one player from the past I really liked was George Best. I would have loved to have seen him weaving his magic in a City shirt.

I've seen the greats from the mid 60's onwards, and he is the player for me.
