Ticket info on OS now - they've cut our allocation due to persistent standing. Can see this one selling out at a higher threshold than West Brom:

City have been given just 2,100 seats for the New Year's Day clash at the Stadium of Light - here is the selling criteria for an allocation that is expected to sell-out quickly.

Please note there will be no ticket returns in the last week of sale.

Sunderland FC has reduced the club's allocation to 2,100 for this fixture as a result of persistent standing by our fans in previous seasons.

Ticket prices as follows:

£29.00 Adults

£18.00 Over 65s

£10.00 Under 16s

All tickets are subject to availability.

If the supporter number used is that of an Adult, then only an Adult ticket may be purchased. This also applies to under 16s and over 65s.

Tickets will be available online at <a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcfc.co.uk/tickets" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.mcfc.co.uk/tickets</a>, by telephone on 0161 444 1894 option 1* and to personal callers at the ticket office above the CityStore at the Etihad Stadium for supporters that meet the following criteria.

Platinum/Gold Members with 8,000 or more loyalty points – Wednesday 7th December from 9am.

Platinum/Gold Members with 7,750 or more loyalty points – Thursday 8th December from 9am.

Platinum/Gold Members with 7,500 or more loyalty points – Friday 9th December from 9am.

Platinum/Gold Members with 7,250 or more loyalty points – Saturday 10th December from 9am.

Platinum/Gold Members with 7,000 or more loyalty points – Monday 12th December from 9am.

Platinum/Gold Members with 6,750 or more loyalty points – Tuesday 13th December from 9am.

Platinum/Gold Members with 6,500 or more loyalty points – Wednesday 14th December from 9am.

Would I be right in saying around a thousand go straight away to Superbia members?

No you'd be out by about 970

although that figure of 1000 would probably be right for supporters clubs (even if you dont have the required amount of points)
