I like Ned but he is vastly over rated by most on here. Same goes for Kompany. They won't radically improve our fortunes on the pitch. Both very good players but not the answers to our problems.

He was very poor last night as were his two previous displays for us. Let's hope he can start to show some of the decent play we know he is capable of.

BM, Neds comes away from being injury prone after a run of games. I've said prior to this thread that he's a notorious slow starter, but after a game or two, there is no better defender at our club.

Somebody said he should get match fit in the reserves, but it's not possible ther. Only on a Prem pitch.

Quite right. I'd like to see either Hangeland or Shawcross (or both) brought in when the window opens.

i agree with this. last season his 1st few games back were not his best but then he played himself in and was one of our better players.
