It does to me too, especially when we don't know the inside track.

I'll stick to what I see on the pitch, and in that regard he did very well. But Birmingham made it easy. Good to see him back. He made great strides the season before Lescott signed, and he went out on loan to Sunderland. Seemed to be growing in confidence and coming out of central defence with the ball and taking people on. When teams sit back with 10 behind the ball, you need defenders who can do that

Had a decent game, not as good as Micah Richards but I like his pace and energy he brings to the wings, more effective than Zabaleta imo.

He's just not good enough for us now and he showed his lack of personal ambition by apparently looking to the cash rather than go to Everton. He's ony 18 months to go I think so wave him bye-bye in January/Summer 2012 and just move on, only thing is it'll be relegation fodder that will go for him and he'll realise the bench at City was as good as it got for him.

Why would he want to go to Everton?

I can see him going to QPR in Jan and finishing in the top half again like last year.

He showed a lack of personal ambition by not leaving?

Maybe he showed a ton of self belief by thinking he should stay and fight his way back into the team? Maybe, just maybe he had a heart to heart with Roberto Mancini, cleared the air and will be given as much a chance as a completely unproven Stefan Savic?

It wasn't long ago that Micah Richards was being told to fuck off my many on here. Now he's the man once again.

As predicted got a good reaction yesterday from us. I knew the 'fans' on here saying they'll boo him and call him this and that all didn't go games. Didn't hear one boo yesterday for him and the majority cheered his name.

He had a solid enough game yesterday, especially considering he's not played for ages. He's a proper blue and he's a good enough player to have in the squad and I'm glad he stayed and I'm glad the match going supporters supported him.
It's nice to read a post like that just before you log off, thanks for that.

Just proved you don't need a thousand posts to make a great one. Good on you there, mate! I completely agree.
