Are you talking about the club or the eight OSC members who ‘voted’ last night? In danger of losing a generation of young local fans all because of greed.

I agree with you, however that's just my gut feeling as I don't have the true figures. At the time, we had just won the Champions League. I doubt they would even come close to filling it if that happened again.
I’m not being funny but that’s utterly pathetic and is in no way indicative of the views of the wider OSC membership. They talk of democracy but surely democracy is canvassing the views of their 20-odd thousand members rather than 8 people (or however many it was) having a vote in secret and coming to a unanimous decision that is the complete opposite of how a large chunk of our fanbase are feeling.
About 50 people would have been there. NotAre you talking about the club or the eight OSC members who ‘voted’ last night?
its a crying shame but when our support base can not mobilise itself to be able to come together In unison to challenge and question the club on various matters then it’s a losing battle - they have and will treat the fans with utter contempt and pay lip service to the current set up of City Matters /OSC - Liverpool’s Spirit of Shankly seem one of the only bodies to have a voice and affect change at a Premier League Club - United have MUST and now 1958 who create noise , protest etc etc but the club just cracks on and does want it wants - ours is the same - Pricing issues are the hot topic currently and rightly so but it’s no coincidence that following fans treatment at recent Champions League Finals Liverpool fought for and got a full refund for everyone and our club did a absolutely nothing , shameful .I’m not being funny but that’s utterly pathetic and is in no way indicative of the views of the wider OSC membership. The OSC has decided not to support the City Matters boycott.
That’s absolutely shocking mate100 %. At no stage we were informed such a vote will take place. We would've for sure given our opinion on the matters before the vote but nope. Glad to find out from twitter that the OSC has decided for us.
Any supporters club chairs on here can confirm that they were given a vote on the matter?
Leaving aside tonight's methodology for canvassing opinion, what good reason could anyone who did vote have for not supporting it? Let alone 100%
it's absolute bullshit, no chance all 50 would have voted against the boycott without any form of coercionAbout 50 people would have been there. Not
Many youngsters though lol
Who makes these decisions on behalf of nearly 25,000 members. If this was in the work place workers would be balloted on what action to take. Look like 7 or 8 OSC members are making a decision on behalf of 25,000 absolutely disgraceful. If there’s not a split in the OSC there needs to be a major overhaul
Kevin Parker is on the CM committee of which the majority have 'voted' to go on strike but is also head honcho of the OSC which has voted to not support the boycott. Surely his position on one of the committees is untenable isn't it?
Letting reps act how they see fit defeats the purpose of their position, they need to be acting on the will of the people they REPresent. The strike was conducted on a rep by rep basis. We left it for each rep to act as they saw fit.
