Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

Yes. They can announce anything they want at any time. The idea that prices should linked to whether the decision makers have cheated or not is absurd
Linking ST prices to the charges may be absurd, but that doesn't mean it won't happen.
Absurdity in football is hardly unknown.

I think it was lies about the OSC getting a seperate assurance of the meeting causing the OSC to not join the boycott. No mention of that from Kev Parker on Cheeseman podcast at all so what gives??

Fair play to Dante, Brian for fighting the good fight. Clear the OSC have different aims to the rest of the fan groups
I had a listen to that podcast. I found Kev parker to be very much on the fence with a lot of these issues. He’d make a point and then defend the club - at least that’s what I was hearing.

I’ve just listened to Ian Chesseman’s podcast. Credit to Ian, Dante, Jackie, Brian, Kevin and Adam. I haven’t heard Brian before but he certainly talked a lot of sense. As did other contributors.

There was a lot of consensus and hopefully the Club start to take notice.

It’s as I suggested. The OSC received assuranced from Danny Wilson that there would be a meaningful meeting on ticket pricing and voted to continue to attend City Matters and its sub groups.

Hopefully, all the posters who said Danny Wilson rocks earlier in the week can understand why the OSC accepted his assurances.

This ended up not being true. Parker made no mention of it, in fact stated their decision was that they didn't want to miss a sub group meeting

Actually, from listening to contributors and reading between the lines, it was obvious they recognised Danny Wilson had cocked up and were prepared to give him a bit of slack. That said, a date for the next meeting / EGM should be in the diaries by now as City Matters has pressed for.

With the best will in the world, you are showing yourself up with your OSC obsession. Your comment that something couldn’t have happened because Kevin Parker didn’t mention it in one podcast is bizarre.

I don't know, maybe you're right it's becoming an obsession

Either way, when asked to justify why they didn't join the boycott, he didn't say anything about an assurance email from DW, something which you said was THE reason they didn't join the boycott

I'll go back to seeing your posts as nothing more than OSC shilling and WUMming, "15k SC holders not attending Leicester" - sure mate, sure

KP said the the OSC didn’t join the boycott because a sub committee meeting would be important to preparing for the EGM. Obviously KP had been assured that the EGM would happen. As had some other City Matters Reps. it’s in the thread and Alex mentioned it. The CM Reps might have just been getting fobbed off as a couple of other posters have suggested and it might have been the wrong call.

I am not going to get into a name calling battle. That said, your assumption that something didn’t happen because it’s not repeated in a particular podcast, is woeful.

You and a few posters assume Blues who are also
Members of the OSC are on here to be a verbal punch bag. I am sure there are OSC Members on here who attended the last OSC meeting who could shed more light on the discussion but why would they come forward to be subjected to drivel.

Don’t know if the club are starting to listen, but I’ve just picked up Palace tickets for 3 times less than I paid for Brighton the other week.

What did you pay if you don't mind me asking? And which area in the ground??

I'm away that game so mines just sold for £41.84 on the exchange, I'm interested to see if the club is actually taking a loss or not

2 adults were £25 each and a kids for £13.

We’re in 313, so I’m assuming Palace have returned a load…

is the north stand still a family section because if it was surely the point would be to make that more affordable for families to actually buy tickets in the section as it seems as expensive as everywhere else

It’s suddenly hit them that the JCL brigade and tourists have no interest in watching a team that’s struggling and can’t win the league. The begging emails will be appearing soon , season ticket holders can buy ten extra tickets and all that shite . Soriano has suddenly remembered our core support exists .

Ahh, yeah they'll be taking a £5 hit then on returned away tickets

I was being lazy, just checked where my seat is, £61 haha. Biggest touts going the club where these exchange tickets are concerned. £20 for nothing
That's the concession price. They're selling the full adult tickets at £30. It's £61 in the next block, which is the same as the highest price you'd pay for any game at Anfield.

It's £61 in the same block, 3 seats apart (where the segregation is in 314) ridiculous pricing

Not that I ever do but I would get £23 back off the club if I stuck my ticket on the exchange and they'd sell it (or try too anyway) for £61

The pricing doesn’t make any sense, especially if you want to fill those seats. Why would anyone pay £61, only a few seats over from the £30 tickets.

No wonder theres so many unsold seats for the Leicester game and others.

Just make match day tickets more affordable and it wouldn’t be an issue

Sorry, needs both my posts to provide context. Was talking about my own ticket in 117, exchange price is £41 so club is charging £61 for mine, £20 more
