Open Training Event

Decent night out, just back after a 200 mile round trip.
Fantastic view
Flags allowed on Tier 3
Oh by the way there is no charge for upgrades for Chrlsea I went to do one tonight and they are free.
Loads of room near the bars.
Great prices tonight most things were a pound.
Great to see most of the 2nd tier full at the South End
Just a good night out
Only draw back would be the space outside between the stand and fence line is tight, interesting when a cup following of 6000 descend on that area.

brilliant lets deck the whole tier in flags

Delph was introduced as a newbie with Roberts, both of which soon disappeared. Turn up early on Sunday, to avoid the 50 mile queue to get in, though.

Remember the ginnel that lead you down from the Kippax to the Platt Lane stand at Maine Road? That was a squeeze and always full of horse shit!

I can confirm there was no horse shit at the ground tonight

Oh yes, with opposition fans coming the other way and then a game of chicken as to who took a turn towards the ground first.

Despite being told that a turnstile had malfunctioned and the fact they had to take boltcutters to a locked door which cuased the big queues yesterday, I have said from day one that those three (fourth one is for away fans) new internal staircases are just nowhere near big enough to get people to/from their seats anywhere like the time/capacity you have with the spirals on the sides whose walkway widths are easily twice the width of those new staircases

They must be sufficiently wide enough as that was the whole reason for the test.

That's very disappointing if it turns out to be the case. It's just another reason for people to leave early if it takes too long to get out at the final whistle.
