Opposition view: Everton

Exeter Blue I am here said:
That wasn't written by any Evertonian I know, especially the bit about Lescott (even though he's right mind; Moyes behaved like a fucking toddler over that deal and sparked 4 years worth of bitterness)! There's no way your average Evertonian would slag off a manager who's worked miracles for them on a shoestring budget, not to mention criticising Jagielka who's quality
jagielka - quality ? watch his diagonal hoofs week in and week out and tell me that one again.
what miracles has moyes worked? he get's 75 k a week and plucks the odd gem from the championship. maybe i am not your average evertonian i guess. maybe i am deluded and expect more.

Everton, Moyes, and their jealous, envious, whining fans are 2nd only to the rags on the scale of teams I can't fucking stand.

I hope we spank them tomorrow.

Preferably the spanking will be kick-started by a dubious decision in our favour (for a change) so that Moyes ends up moaning, complaining & pleading with the post match interviewer and coating him with his self righteous, woe is me, spittle.

Thanks for the draw at the swamp last season though!

of course i am an evertonian ffs. ok i included neville and omitted fellaini but does that make me a fcukin kopite ffs. as for the rest i stand by it and its my opinion that's all. are everton the football equivalent of the socialist workers party and no one is entitled to an opinion ? i will be getting up at 6 am to get to the game from the south of england so i must be one warped kopite to be doing that surely? had i said everton would batter you i would have been slated. i have been going the game all my life and remember the mike walker / walter smith days, so yes i have a lot to thank moyes for. but the truth is he is a bottler and at every opportunity to raise the bar he / the team has failed. fiorentina/sporting lisbon in the europa league, liverpool in the cup semi last year, chelsea in the cup final. i could have the same conversation with lads i go the game with and some would agree or disagree, it's all about opinions.

My bad then.

I only had my doubts because of your strangely dismissive attitude towards Jagielka's and Fellaini's capabilities.

fellaini is not my sort of footballer, maybe its the haircut;-) jagielka is an okay player thats my opinion. hoofs the ball far too much for me. i never get precious about my football anymore and yearn for a trophy as much as the next fan but believe moyes is far too negative a manager. he has one of the safest jobs in football so should be more positive for that reason IMO.

Im an Everton fan and think more than likely we'll probably get beat given your home record and the fact that you have the best squad in the league. Pretty shocking preview of the match though. He forgot Fellaini. Kind of makes his opinions a little worthless dont we think

Also please dont offer us Rodwell back when you come for Fellaini. We dont want him

Pretty please

This match apart, I have a sneaking respect for Everton, they have a good manager that has performed miracles with the resources he has they always seem to raise their game against us, it's up to us to raise ours

shackattack is a top lad, one of the best opposition team posters who comes on here. Clued up about his music, clothes etc

Shack are shit. It's maudlin folk rock for men in their 40's.

just reached 50 so grown out of them now. would differ on the " shack are shit " tag mind. music like football is all about opinion. give me your taste in music and will give it a whirl.

Everton are very similar to us before we won the lottery with the takeover.A good hard core loyal fanbase with a local rival who like ours are the media darlings.

It is a pity the Lescott transfer soured things because we did have a fairly good relationship,a few knobs and hoolies aside.I worked with some good loyal Evertonians when i was employed by Bibby tankers in the eighties.

I think Moyes has done a great job there with very little money.Like Hughes the jury is out on whether he would be a top class boss at a club with more resources or not, only time will tell if he gets offered one. Thanks to Twatini and his cronies the door has probably closed on Everton getting a huge cash injection,so it probably won't happen there.

The truth is whether it is stability or his management,Everton made a better job of their situation than we did with very similar resources.

I would like to see them grab fourth spot, though not at our expense tomorrow, though i fear they wouldn't fare much better than us if they did.
