Don't get all this hatred for Liverpool to be honest.

I understand they were our rivals last year and yes it pissed me off how they booed us constantly after all we had done regarding Hillsborough and they cheered when Yaya got injured (more relief on their part I think).

But the majority of Red scousers I have met have said well done for last year and wished us luck for this year, they were also embarrassed by some of their fans as we are of some of ours (pissing in sinks at Wembley)

Only one team I despise and that is the Rags always have and always will.

Pissing in sinks? I've never heard about this. Care to indulge?

Yeah, some people pissed in the sinks at Wembley.

That's disgusting. They must have been students.

Liverpool's game was almost solely based on getting the play wide and stretching MCFC... hence Sterling and coutinho having the liberty to push the play towards open space and trying to find sturridge... followed by a midfield trio with Gerrard-Allen-Henderson (which I think was what shot liverpool in the foot, all these players are "defensive" by nature), finally the classic back 4

Starting with the trio in attack - What made liverpool so "deadly" last season was the pace and unpredicability in attack... The pace that sturridge and sterling brought to the attacking play with the clinical nature and all round play of suarez cannot be mimiced in anyway by the trio that played today (Coutinho-Sturridge-Sterling)

Second the mid barely had a creative element in it, which explained why for most of the game MCFC was easily able to nullify the pool attack especially with the likes of workhorses like Fernando, Yaya, Kompany and co. hunting down any pool initiative....
